The Baptism of the Lord

Once again the decision has been made to close the churches for public services until February 6th.  After meetings with the Executive and the public health authorities, the Catholic Bishops are asking everyone to stay at home as much as possible during this new lockdown.

As hospital chaplain, I’ve personally seen the large increase in numbers of people hospitalised due to the Covid-19 virus.  Let’s keep them and the staff who look after them in our prayers.

In the meantime we will continue parish life online!  Please subscribe to our YouTube channel to see all our online Masses and services.  We’ll also have regular updates on our Facebook page.

ST BRIGID’S PS P1 REGISTRATION
Is your child due to start P1 in September 2021? Unfortunately, due to the COVID restrictions, St Brigid's Primary School are not able to offer our usual warm and welcoming open day.  So for this year, please accept our invitation to visit St Brigid’s PS website.

On the website there is a section, 'Starting Our School' and it contains lots of information about the school, including a wonderful video tour of the school through the eyes of the P1 children. Alternatively, if you have any questions, please ring (028 27662664) to speak to the Principal, Mr O'Neill.  Registration opens Thursday 7 January and closes at 12 noon on Saturday 30 January.
