St Brigid’s is a Catholic, co-educational primary school with an enrolment of two hundred pupils.  It serves the parish of Ballymoney & Derrykeigan and its surrounding area.  The school also has two Learning Support Centres.

The school looks confidently to the future knowing that the standards of teaching and learning are very high.  This was endorsed by a very successful inspection report in September 2013.

The school has strong parental links and a high reputation in the local community.  Children attending St. Brigid’s PS can use its childcare facilities before and after school as well as over eighteen after school clubs.

A 1.3 million pound refurbishment of the school building has recently completed, giving our parish a school that it can rightly be proud of.

Our Lady of Lourdes is a Catholic, co-educational high school with an enrolment of over two hundred pupils.  It serves the parish of Ballymoney & Derrykeigan and its surrounding area.

The school attracts pupils from across the whole ability range, and boys and girls of all abilities are thriving in our distinct small-school ethos. It is meeting very effectively the educational and pastoral needs of the pupils and continues to demonstrate its capacity for sustained self-improvement. Our Lady of Lourdes School Ballymoney was honoured in 2004, 2007 and 2011 with the prestigious award of Investor in People.

Our ethos enables us to give our pupils an education, a gift, a belief that they are beautiful as they are because they are children of God and as a community, we strive to do little things with great love realising that no single act of love will ever be lost.

Over £280,000 is currently being spent in upgrading the fabric of the school buildings, allowing us to look confidently to the future.
