Second Sunday of Ordinary Time

In the liturgical calendar we are now in the period of Ordinary Time.  Vestments and decorations in the church are coloured green - a colour that represents new life and hope.

Of course this is not an ordinary time for any of us, so that message of hope is more important than ever.  May the Lord lead us safely through these days and give us hope for happier days to come.
