Parish Cemetery Sunday
Our annual prayer service for our deceased family and friends buried in our cemetery will take place on Sunday 23 June 2019 after 11am Mass.
We will be inviting those attending to bless the graves of their loved ones during the service. In order to facilitate this we would ask a member of each family to bring with them a small container suitable for sprinkling that can be filled with Holy Water either at the back of the church or in the graveyard where a container will be placed before the service begins. At this time we remember especially those whose burial places are unmarked and unknown but not forgotten and who are commemorated with a memorial in the old cemetery.
Parking will be available in the school grounds. When parking remember to do so responsibly respecting the needs of others, and DO NOT create any obstruction or block any route that may be required by the emergency services.
A collection will be taken up to help defray the cost of maintaining the cemetery.
