Children's Liturgy
Children's Liturgy

Children’s Liturgy is running very successfully in our Parish at 11.00am Mass each Sunday morning. It provides children with the opportunity to listen to the gospel in a format that is relevant to them, using children’s literature, children’s bible and colouring activities, learning through fun.

Our Liturgy - The children light the candle to begin our liturgy, we read the Gospel, participate in activities and prepare the board for the offertory procession. The children offer the bread and wine, their bible and present their story board at the offertory.

Our Leaders work in small teams and make a commitment to one Sunday each month.

New volunteers are always very welcome; if you are interested in getting involved, please speak to a leader after Mass on a Sunday morning.

People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
