Health and Wellbeing Fair, Tuesday 16 May 2017
This year’s Dementia Awareness Week (14 - 20 May), the Alzheimer’s Society are encouraging everyone to unite in the fight against dementia.
Dementia is set to be the 21st century’s biggest killer, with someone developing dementia every three minutes.
On Tuesday 16 May, Alzheimer’s Society will be holding a Health and Wellbeing Fair in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine from 11am – 3pm. The event is an excellent opportunity for people to discover the range of services available in the local area.
The Health and Wellbeing Fair brings together a variety of charities and organisations in the local area, all of whom will be offering advice and support for people to live healthy. Stands on the day will include: COAST; Bluebird Care; FOLD; Action on Hearing Loss; Parkinsons UK; NI Chest, Heart & Stroke; Age Concern; Causeway Volunteer Centre; and, Patient and Client Council along with local chemists, opticians and other local healthcare providers.
