We all put our best foot forward ... The Castle Community Centre Sponsored Walk on Monday 15 June was a great success. Around 100 adults and children took part. The weather was fine, the craic was good and all in all it was a terrific parish event which will hopefully be repeated again next year.
A sincere word of thanks to all our walkers, sponsors and marshalls on the night. A special word of thanks to the Castle Community Association for the delicious BBQ afterwards.
The total proceeds resulted in a very generous £5,044. Work will commence shortly on the heating system and external painting of the centre. |
